In August, the Spanish partner of BioBEC presented the “Reflections on the BioBEC Project: Certifying Training for Europe’s Bio-Industrial Professionals” during a conference in Mexico City.
Aleix Barrera Corominas and Joaquín Gairín Sallán from the Universidad Autònoma de Barcelona took the stage as speakers at the 10th Ibero-American Congress of Pedagogy organized by the Universidad Iberoamericana and the Spanish Society of Pedagogy. The work presented the insights shared by professionals in the sector regarding how the certification of training provided outside formal pathways should be structured. The goal is to ensure that this training can be acknowledged and accepted by both the industry and formal educational institutions when seeking an official qualification. This event aimed to explore the best ways to confirm the skills of professionals leading innovation and growth in the bio-industrial field.
