On May 24th, BIObec Project participated in a collaborative event on bioeconomy education in Rome, Italy. The event coincided with Italian Bioeconomy Day and was hosted by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
Organized by APRE, FVA New Media Research, the University of Bologna, and the National Coordination Group for Bioeconomy, the event brought together representatives from the European Commission, the Circular Bioeconomy Initiative Joint Undertaking (CBE JU), the Joint Research Centre (JRC), and BIObec sister projects (BioGov.net, GenB, Engage4BIO, EuBioNet).
Discussions focused on the importance of bioeconomy education in advancing the European and Italian Bioeconomy Strategies. A roundtable discussion with national Ministers and regional leaders concluded the event.
